Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data O.M.T. d.o.o. collects through the website omt.hr, for what purposes it processes it and what rights you have regarding your data.

2. What data we collect

We collect data only when you provide it to us yourself:

• Enquiry form – first and last name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, type of enquiry, message content and any documentation you attach (drawing, 3D model, etc.).
• E-mail and phone – data you provide in your message or conversation.

We do not collect special categories of personal data and do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

• Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations – taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Performance of contracts and business communication – performance of a contract or our legitimate interest in regular business operations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
• Consent – where you have expressly given it by ticking the relevant box in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• Legal obligations – retention of accounting and tax records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Retention period

• Enquiries that do not result in a business relationship are kept for no longer than two years from the last contact.
• Documentation relating to concluded business is kept for the periods prescribed by tax and accounting regulations.
• Attached technical files (drawings, 3D models) are kept as long as they are needed to prepare a quotation or perform the job, or until you request their deletion.

5. Recipients of data

We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for marketing purposes. The following may have access to it:

• the website and e-mail hosting provider,
• an external IT maintenance service provider,
• the accounting service and competent public authorities where required by law.

All processors are bound by a data processing agreement. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.

6. Cookies

The website omt.hr uses only technically necessary cookies required for its proper functioning and for language selection. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, visitor tracking tools or advertising networks.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, but please note that some parts of the website may then not work properly.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• access to your data and information about the processing,
• rectification of inaccurate and completion of incomplete data,
• erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”),
• restriction of processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10 000 Zagreb, azop@azop.hr.

8. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational protection measures: encrypted data transfer (HTTPS), access control, regular backups and restricting access to data to employees who need it to perform their work.

9. Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy from time to time to comply with regulations or changes in the way we do business. The version published on this page is always the valid one.
